This site originally began as a joke. A tangent of the strangely amusing cryingwhileeating.com site where people have shared their pictures, videos and tales of crying while eating.

The thing is coding, more formally known as programming, can be a frustrating if not painful experience at times. Seriously. Just look at the definition from the Jargon File:

From Jargon File (4.4.4, 14 Aug 2003) [jargon]:

programming n.

1. The art of debugging a blank sheet of paper (or, in these days of on-line editing, the art of debugging an empty file). “Bloody instructions which, being taught, return to plague their inventor” (Macbeth, Act 1, Scene 7)
2. A pastime similar to banging one’s head against a wall, but with fewer opportunities for reward.
3. The most fun you can have with your clothes on.
4. The least fun you can have with your clothes off.

While 3 and 4 are certainly true, 1 and 2 are definitely telling.

I plan to use this as a platform to highlight pains and better.. some potential remedies.
